The NSMA works hard throughout the year on membership drives and fundraising events and opportunities and we encourage music teachers and ensemble directors to take advantage of the funding available as a result.
Teachers and staff in the Northborough/Southborough public schools may request grant funds using this google form.
Deadline for grant applications is November 1. Grants submitted after this date will be considered on an as-needed basis.
The NSMA has proudly supported the following:
GUEST ARTISTS
$700 grant for conductor James Burton, for ARHS choral ensembles
$500 grant for guest artists at Melican Middle School Chamber Night
$500 grant for guest artist, trombonist Craig Robbins, for Melican Middle School Jazz Night
$500 grant to support the 8th - 12th grade music Jamboree
$1,400 grant to the Lincoln Street and Peaslee Schools for a music enrichment activity
$500 grant to the Woodward School for field trip to the Neary School for a music performance
